Question: Do you ever use fat transfer during blepharoplasty? I have hollow circles under my eyes and think that a little bit of fat injected there might help. If this is done, how long do the effects last?
Answer: Almost all entire lower eyelid blepharoplasties involve a fat transposition, moving of the fat pads into the depressions below the eyes, called the tear troughs. The affects seem to hold up for many years, as you continue to age. I have been using this technique about 8 year.
