Question : I’m 25, Middle Eastern, with a very large hump on my nose. Can this be completely removed with nose surgery? How is this done?
Answer : The hump can certainly be reduced. The definition of “completely” is something we would need to agree upon. For example, reducing a large hump drastically can make a large nose look too long if you do not do something to the tip of the nose. I remove the hump with a sharp chisel, a fine diamond burr on a surgical drill or fine files, whichever is needed. If you send me some photos at firstname.lastname@example.org I would be happy to get back to you.
