Question : How many cc’s of Botox is normally injected during one procedure?
Answer : Very little. Botox, Xeomin and Dysport are all measured in units. Units of Botox and Xeomin seem to be about equivalent; Dysport is a bit different. Each surgeon has a favorite way of mixing up the solutions. The products come in a powder form, and saline is added to them. Very commonly Botox is injected in a concentration of 5 units per 0.1 cc of solution. So, a typical injection of 25 units of Botox to the glabella for the creases between your eyes would be about 0.5 ml, one half cc.
