I’ve heard that rhinoplasty is often combined with chin augmentation. Why is this? What is the benefit and is it safe to perform the two procedures at the same time?
Answer:
People who have larger overprojecting noses (noses that stick out too far) often have smaller chins. This especially true in some European communities. We often place a silicone plastic chin implant at the same time as a rhinoplasty. There is no more risk than doing the procedures separately. Here are some links with some photos:
