I am interested in a neck lift. I am assuming that some skin would be removed so there must be scars. Do the scars for this procedure, or any type of facial surgery, often need to be refined later?
Usually the scars are fine. They are most visible behind the ears, but even then our patients do not hesitate to wear their hair up. Here is a photo of the healed wound 1 year after a full lower face lift. The scars for a neck lift are even shorter. See if you can find the scar:
