I have a small, turned-up, pixie-like nose. Can this be fixed with rhinoplasty and how? What sort of improvement can I expect?
The nasal tip can be rotated downward and the nose lengthened as needed. While we cannot predict exactly how many degrees of change there will be, the change is a significant improvement. Patient RP 1 – 4 in the photo gallery on our website (http://www.drbentkover.com/photo-gallery/rhinoplasty-photos) had such a procedure. Also look in the revision rhinoplasty section of the website patient RR 1-3 had to have her nose lengthened and the tip rotated down after two previous procedures by another surgeon. It is important to try to get the nose to fit your face. I have other images to show you in the office. Your height also makes a difference. Shorter people look sometimes ok with the nose up a bit but taller people often do not.
