Question : After eyelid surgery, do the eyes themselves, not the skin, appear red? Can you use visine if they do?
Answer : There can be some oozing of a small amount of blood under the mucous membrane (conjunctiva) of the eye. This goes away in a few days by itself and does not require treatment. If there is a generalized redness of the eyes, it could be an infection or allergic reaction that might require treatment with a prescription. Hard to tell if Visine would help without seeing the eyes.
