Question:
The other day I was getting my hair done at the salon when I saw an ad for Botox injections. I thought that only a certified medical provider could do them; what’s the deal?
Answer:
Botox is a prescription medication. In some states nurses or physician’s assistants can do the injections but must be under the superviaion of a physician. Your hairdresser or an aesthetican cannot legally inject you. If they are adversing as such, I would be very careful.
