Question : I have read that depending on my hairline and forehead size, an endoscopic brow lift may not be the best option over a traditional brow lift. How can I tell which procedure is right for me?
Answer : That is the purpose of a consultation with an experienced facial surgeon. Factors such as age, the amount of desired elevation and the position of the hairline are factors that enter into my recommendation for which approach to use. A very high hairline may need to be advanced, and that requires an open approach. The same can be said of a very low hairline that needs to be elevated. The endoscopic brow lift procedure leaves the hairline where it is and does not elevate the brows as much.
