Question:
I am a 54 year old woman. My upper eyelids are droopy and I have deep wrinkles at the corners of my eyes. Will an upper blepharoplasty help both of these conditions?
Answer:
A blepharoplasty may alleviate the droopy eyelids. If you have an actual weakness of the muscles and membranes that open your eye, you may also need a procedure to tighten the eyelid. The wrinkles at the corners of your eyes are best treated with a skin resurfacing. I use Portrait PSR 3 nitrogen plasma or the carbon dioxide laser for this.
