Question : I notice that when I am not smiling, it looks like I am frowning. People actually comment that I seem angry. I don’t know if this involves just my mouth or both my mouth and eyes. Would a consultation help me identify whether I need a cheek lift, an eyelift or both?

What is the treatment procedure for Pellevé?
The Pellevé treatment works by delivering heat energy (generated as a radio frequency) to the junction of the dermis and fat in your skin. This is also where collagen can be found. The heat makes the collagen contract, which firms up the skin and allows the growth of new collagen. The treatment can be be performed by a physician or other professional acting under the physician's supervision.
A gel that conducts heat is applied to the area that's to be worked on, and the physician uses a radio frequency handpiece on the area. The patient feels a deep, penetrating warmth in the area. Some patients claim that the treatment feels no more uncomfortable than a heat massage.
The treatment lasts about one half hour to an hour depending, on the area of the face that's being treated. The patient does not have to do anything out of the ordinary before the procedure but should drink enough water to be well hydrated by the time of the treatment. If you are using topical medications you should ask the doctor if these should be discontinued.
